Title for discussion is Mrs. Sherlock Holmes: The True Story of New York City's Greatest Female Detective and the 1917 Missing Girl Case That Captivates a Nation by Brad Ricca. At a time before women had gained the right to vote, Grace Humiston was an attorney in New York. Written by local Cleveland author Brad Ricca, this book explores this most famous case.

While newspapers nicknamed "Mrs. Sherlock Holmes" and many referred to her as "the woman in black" because she wore black following her parents' death, Humiston worked pro bono on the NYPD cold case concerning a missing 18 year-old girl.
